International alliance of research, innovation and business stakeholders EMPOWA, aiming to boost the participation of women entrepreneurs in the Horizon 2020-SME Instrument programme, invites all women entrepreneurs to take part in the online training to learn more about SMEI Opportunities. ‘According to Eurostat, in 2015 50,7 % of researchers in Lithuania were women. However, when it comes to R&D&I and commercialisation women are less active. The EU statistics shows that women entrepreneurs are less involved in EU financial instruments and open innovation platforms. Therefore, we strive towards training women entrepreneurs in SMEI and encouraging them to take part in application process and win it’ says Mantas Vilys, the director of Lithuanian Innovation Centre that belongs to the alliance. Training will take part 2 May, 2018 at 3 pm. CET. The training will be free of charge, but all women willing to participate should fill in the application form. Only the ones applied will get the link to the online training session on the day of the training. The training will be organised in English with possibility to ask questions. You can find the registration form and the agenda for the training [here](http://empowa.zenit.de/?page_id=91).
